It’s one thing to make a picture of what a person looks like, it’s another thing to make a portrait of who they are. – Paul Caponigro

I remember when my oldest son began to smile and laugh. That laugh, the way it erupted from within his belly, and the way his entire body played a role in his smile, had this impact on everyone around that was inescapable. His little face and the way the light danced behind his eyes, that's what I remember about a time in our life that passed so quickly. The way he sat on the floor with his legs crossed just so, the way he gazed out the window on car trips....these images of him just as he was, being everything that the Lord created him to be, those are the images that make up the album in my mind. As a lifestyle photographer, this is my aim. Is it your wedding day? Your baby's birthday party? Those bleary-eyed and magical newborn days? Let me capture life as you know it right now and provide you with tangible memories of the tiniest things that will one day make up your memories.

Wife to Chad, and a mother to three boys: Hayden (10), Sebastian (7), and Lennon (3). That’s right…all boys, so that makes me the Queen…of my house anyway. The boys are as opposite and similar as the day is long. My husband, Chad, is my rock. Even on his worst day, he’s still the best and he and my boys are a large part of what motivates me to be better than I was the day before.

During the week, I work in the insurance industry as a Resource Specialist, party like a rock star as a Zumba Instructor, and dabble as a seamstress in my off time. I love photography (obviously), writing, and fitness. Little known fact: I am a 1st Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo.

Adore the beach, and good light makes me giddy. I love the smell of fresh laundry and fresh baked bread. Working with my hands makes me feel accomplished and am working one day at a time to motivate and inspire.
