A Day in the Life

6/27/2014

Many of my new clients don't know that aside from Red Clay, I also work in the real world at a Monday - Friday, 8 to 4:30 job. I hope that one day Red Clay will take off enough that it will provide enough of a means to support my family, but for now, I stick to weekend sessions.

Needless to say, days off are few and far between. Today was an exception. One of the many generous benefits of working at my day job, is they provide something called Summer Fridays. Employees can select 1 Friday during the months of June, July, and August, to take the day off to enjoy the summer. If you own a company, I highly encourage you to add this as a benefit. Time off is magic.

Today, was my June Summer Friday and I thought it would be nice to document the day, at the prompting of an online photography group. As I've learned with my 365 Projects, the most mundane photos can comprise something so near and dear to your heart. As expected, today's photo series follows suit.
